What is Tom and Jerry: Chase?

Tom and Jerry: Chase (猫和老鼠官方手游 Māo hé lǎoshǔ guānfāng shǒu yóu - lit. Cat and Mouse Official Mobile Game) is a multiplayer action isometric game where four mice have to face-off against a cat in a specific map full of items.

The aim of the cat, of course, is to trap, catch and dispatch the four mice, who in turn are trying to survive, push cheese and escaping via the wall crack, causing chaos in the house.

Art Style

The art style is faithfully derived from the original classic cartoons, but sometimes it can reference from the newer 2014 series or movies when it comes to characters, locations, items.

Line art are mostly drawn in black lines with limited shading, and characters (usually those who have only appeared in one episode) get redesigned into the game, notably Michelle, Zuri, and Syrus.

S Class skins (except Hero of the West), are all created originally for this game, but it can reference from popular characters, such as Bruce Lee, or even fictional characters like Monkey King.

How Can I Download The Game?

You can download the game generally in GooglePlay or from APKs with your phone or laptop, but doesn't have keyboard support if laptop, you can control the game with the mouse, but that would not be recommended for players, since this game requires aiming.

In 2020 the International Server Beta is released, albeit for only 2 languages. You can download this version on Google Play Store and App Store.

Chinese Server

It is possible to play the original version outside of People's Republic of China, but not without trial and error for iOS devices. iOS devices require the Chinese Apple ID to be downloaded unless you use the ripped version, then you could simply download an IPA file. Android devices, on the other hand, are as simple as can be. Follow the website below, and press the green button, and it downloads a APK file.

However, due to NetEase anti-addiction policy, the game would require you a real-name identification, which does not accept foreign IDs. You need to borrow an ID from someone else who has a Chinese ID (adult), in order to play normally.

Due to it being the original server, it is mostly rewarding if you can manage to play this server, as it has the newest characters and features, but the language will remain Chinese.

Controls

The controls are well adapted for touchscreens. On the left side of the screen are your movement arrows, while on the right are your buttons to jump, attack, and interact with things around the level. In the setup options, in any case, you can customize the controls as desired.

The game can also be played on PC through Bluestacks (ASIA) and MuMu Emulator (CN). The controls are pre-set, and you can control the buttons through your keyboard. You can also switch around the locations of the buttons, their sizes, or for MuMu Emulator only, the trigger keyboard buttons themselves for better game play experience.
